A Little Bit About Me...

Starting my Junior year of High School and continuing until graduation I was a tutor for Algebra which allowed me to interact with students, assist in teaching, and focus on the students that needed more support to reach their full potential. Continuing into college I often led study groups, helped other classmates to better understand the material, and participated in volunteer work to interact with children. I have always had a strong appreciation for education and learning new things. My educational experience was strengthened when I attended Cornell College, which has a strong liberal arts program. I immediately took an interest in the sciences and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Pre-medicine. My education was additionally complimented when I immersed myself in several language, mathematic, English, and humanity courses, which gave me a strong diversity in the liberal arts curriculum. Due to the smaller class sizes at Cornell, most of the exams were given in essay form, which strengthened my writing skills immensely.
