Love watching children learn and grow!

I use a variety of teaching styles and methods to reach students because I know that all students are different and learn better with different methods. I try to find creative ways to reach students to try to make learning as engaging and meaningful as possible.
I graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Elementary Education (K-6) as well as Reading Certification (K-12). Throughout college I tutored elementary students for a tutoring company that worked with students in an urban district in Pennsylvania. My tutoring experiences are in K-1 and grade 3. Literacy instructor for over 10 years.

I try to include fun in every lesson. Playing games, creating rhymes or chants to remember mechanical rules helps students to move forward in their skills. Consistency with generous praise so that students feel success creates readers.
