I really enjoy teaching all ages. From my background in coaching young children how to swim I've become well adjusted to dealing with difficult situatioins in a learning environment. However, I always want to provide my students with the best learning environment possible. I'm extremely patient and I believe that a teacher should be willing to do whatever is possible to help their students understand the material and learn.
I graduated from Davidson College with a major in economics, which has enabled me to gain an understanding of both math and social science. I tutored during my junior and senior years in North Carolina and I've also done private tutoring in Gainesville. In addition, I coached 4-12 year olds how to swim. If I can teach 4 year olds who are screaming and kicking how to swim I can teach someone math or ecnomoics.

A Little Bit About Me...

I will be graduating from UF this fall semester with a degree in marketing and mass communication. Although I am young, I have had some experience in teaching, as I have worked as a tutor during the summer. I have also served as a tutor at the University of Florida in all math related topics. I use humor to bring the subject matter to life, and I help the student come to her/his own understanding through discussion of the course material, encouraging her/him to take an active role in learning.
