Since I have been around 15, starting with my growing nieces, it has always stood out to me how the child's brain develops. Seeing one of my nieces grasp material quicker than the other. I took up two years of Early Childhood Education in high school as a co-op class and learned a lot about the development of children. Need work that will fit around my school schedule.

I do not have experience with tutoring, but I have had College English Comp. I and II. My teacher I had was very strict about spelling, grammar, etc. She wrote a grammar book and helped write a couple other books, so she was pretty strict about everything we done. I made an A+ in English Comp. I my first semester of college and made a B+ my second semester of college.

All children can learn, but in different ways. As a teacher I had to figure out the various ways that my students learned and incorporated that into my lessons. I did a lot of small group teaching and hands on activities. I always did whatever I needed to do in order for my children to be successful.
