I spent 11 years as a Controller in the Hospitality Industry working for 4 different hotel companies throughout the US specializing in building new and renovating older hotels. I then settled in CT and worked in the non profit field at the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and then with the CT ST Dental Assoc. I first began tutoring under the direction of Nancy Donohue-Berthiaume at Quinsigamond College. I turored in Introductory Accounting, basic and college level mathematics. In my Sophmore symester, I was presented with a challenge. A young man who was both Dislexic, and Mathlexic was failing basic mathematics. In less then 1/2 hour, I was able to help him go from failing grades to straight A's. Later, I tutored fellow students in Pre-Calculus while taking the course myself. I ended up with a 4.0 GPA in that class.
