I have been composing creative, casual and professional communications on a daily basis for over 25 years. My primary employment is as the Executive Assitant to the President of a company in the finance industry. I represent her and this company in numerous communications each day. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a highly-experienced speaker and tutor of German with 4.5 years of tutoring experience. As a teenager, I attended the annual Statewide German Competition in San Antonio, TX, competing in various fields such as sight-reading, writing, comprehension, and conversation. I scored in the 90th percentile on the National Exam for three consecutive years; in 2011, I received the highest score in the state of Texas. In 2010, I was able to travel to Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, for a six-month study abroad program, where I lived with a German family and attended school to achieve an immersive experience. My students show marked improvement in their abilities with German. I am projected to receive my BA in German in May 2016. I specialize in translation, conversation, and grammar.

English is one of my top subjects!

I was a cheerleader from 7th grade until my junior year of college at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown where i was a flyer on their competition squad. I also coached a junior rah rah camp throughout high school. I attended the University of Pittsburgh where I majored in social work with a minor in sociology and was one class shy of obtaining my ASL certification. I then graduated and spent a year working as a feeding specialist at The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh. From there I became a retail manager for Banana Republic and spent a year traveling to various stores evaluating and improving their visual impact and shipment methods.
