Cheering is one of my top subjects! Also quite skilled in other sports such as: basketball, softball, & dance.

I am experienced in all subject matter listed from Reading Comprehension to Athletics, all gained through years of experience through teaching those particular skills to students and my own proficiency in developing said skills. I work year-round with students/people of all ages/backgrounds in developing whatever skills needed in a safe & nurturing learning environment.
I am able to teach in any environment all while playing to the learning style strengths of my students, because everyone learns differently. Always encouraging and there are no wrong or "dumb" questions/answers.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is a simple one: I use kindness with firmness and always attach a fun and tactile activity to make the learning memorable. My own learning style is more visual and hands-on, but I know that some children can learn by repetition and memorization, and if that's what works, then I'll adjust to fit that particular child's needs. I also use a reward system when agreed upon by the parent for when the child reaches small goals. I believe baby steps are what build confidence.
As a 22 year veteran teacher and now a Children's Director of Ministry, I have worked in most all capacities with children and feel that God gave me this gift. I feel that all children learn differently and at their own pace and therefore learning should be adjusted to fit their needs. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that patience is the most important virtue when teaching a child new material. I have a nephew who is ADHD and I have helped him with many school projects and other homework. He requires a lot of attention and a lot of patience. So I am aware that all children are different and have a different way of learning. I believe in finding what gets them motivated and expanding on that!
I have always loved teaching students the principals of Math. During my time at Harding University I was apart of a competitive Economic team (SIFE) and for them I developed original material on economic principles to present at the surrounding elementary schools and even high schools.
