If you looked over my resume, you would see that I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a year of experience as an adjunct instructor at a medical career college and two years teaching English as a Second Language at a private institution. However, if you looked over my life, you would see that I have been teaching, tutoring and mentoring my entire life. I have volunteered as a mentor, a tutor, and a teacher in community organizations, in local schools, and at my local church; and I home schooled my own children. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of The Criswell College I have earned a BA in Theological Studies. I have also had extensive training in such areas as History, Science, Philosophy, and Theology. I am pursuing at this time a second degree in History from Lynchburg College and will be adding a Masters degree also. My experience in teaching all these areas plus others comes from spending over a year in South Korea teaching English, History, Science, Reading, and conducting seminars in other special interest areas.

I have been blessed with professors at the university level who understand the importance of one-on-one instruction. Through the "creativity" of thoughtful instructors I have seen myself grow and develop in ways that I hadn't thought possible. Every student learns differently, and once the instructor gets to know the student well enough and is able to tailor their lessons to the needs of the student, true learning happens.
