I have helped my fellow students learn for nearly as long as I've been learning, myself. While attending Community College, I worked as a Peer Tutor in a wide range of subjects. While attending University, I worked as a General Subject Tutor and as a Math Tutor. I studied abroad in South Korea for one year, during which time I tutored Korean students in English and worked as a Classroom Aide and Assistant Teacher in several private schools. Being overwhelmed with information that is just not making sense can be frustrating and most teachers don't have the time to give individual attention to each student. Ever student has different needs and I can help them focus on areas they doesn't understand as well as others. I can also show students that studying can be fun.

I used mathematics while working to develope may scientic and signal processing applications for computers including GPS applications. My tutoring style usually depend on the person I am tutoring, however the following is my basic beliefs, which guide my teaching methods. I believe that you can make any subject matter easy by focusing on the basics and relating the subject matter to things the student can identify with. This allows the student to not become overwhelmed and more acceptable to the subject matter.
