A Little Bit About Me...

I have dreamed of being a teacher since I was a little girl. I worked towards this goal and received my teaching certificate and then a job teaching 8th grade reading my first year teaching. I have since taught 6-8th English/Reading as well as 8th American History.
I have a love for children, teaching, and learning. This passion is what makes me reach out to help children. I am a firm believer in trying to reach the child through the best way he/she learns. My life has been filled with teaching and working with children. At the age of ninteen as a very young mother I felt a sense of duty in teaching my children how to achive higher than they can ever have imagined. I love to see the look of awe on their faces when they realize that they to can understand which ever subject that slips them. The rest is simple practice, practice, practice seals the deal. Then stride to the next hurdle. Each child has a different way of learning things.
