My style of teaching is more of a participant style. I enjoy when students contribute to class discussions. It brings joy to my heart when a child finds a task complicated and eventually succeeds. As an educator, I am responsible for not only teaching students but for coaching, mentoring, tutoring and inspiring young minds to achieve greatness.

I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Education. I loved working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, but it was extremely hard finding a job doing that in my area. Due to that fact, I started tutoring as many kids from the local schools as much as possible and I loved doing it. That also motivated me to work on adding endorsements to my teaching license so that I can teach regular education as well. I’ve added Special Education (k-12) and Social Studies (7-12) and I am working on adding English and Math as well. I am excited about given the opportunity to work in the school system.
