A Little Bit About Me...

As a student at Oklahoma State University, I worked with my fellow students during my sophomore, junior, and senior years as a peer tutor. I also worked for the Athletic department as a student-athlete tutor. My degrees are in Accounting and Management, which provided significant coursework in accounting, management, and other areas of business. I have tutored Accounting, Economics, General Business, College Algebra, and other general education areas. I also worked for two years as a professional accountant and am a Certified Public Accountant.
I enjoy teaching business areas and math -- the subjects were fascinating to learn and are still a joy to explore with students. My favorite moments are "light bulb moments;" it can be frustrating to work on the same thing for a long time, but when a student looks up and finally "gets it," it doesn't matter how long it took. More About This Tutor...

As a student at Kansas State University, I am currently enrolled in the Architectural Engineering degree and I am completing my last math class as of now. I believe I would be a great candidate for this position because I have recently taken the three calculus classes and now differential equations. Also, i have an extensive background in different fields of physics which broadens of the everyday use of math as well.
From past experience I have learned that everyone has a specific way of learning and therefore you must accompany to that. I believe that patience is one of the most important qualities any tutor could have. I believe once students realize that everyone needs help in life, whether it be work or school, they will succeed and completely change their view on tutors and their future education.
