A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned two degrees. At Georgia Southern University I recieved a B.S. in Nutrition/Food Sciences. While in Statesboro, ga completing my studies I served as an after school tutor for elementary students in the Bulluch County after school program. I recently graduated from Sanford Brown Institute in Atlanta, GA where I earned a degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide nutritional guidance to pregnant mothers in addition to being an ultrasound professional. I have a talent for oral and written communication. I am a great tutor.
I am thankful that I had some "hard" teachers and professors throughout my education. I have honestly grown to understand the importance of success and how nothing worth having comes easily. Teaching, in some form, has been a part of my life for the last 20 years. During that time I discovered for myself that students learn in different ways. I believe in a positive and encouraging teaching style utlizing varying explanations. I love instructing one on one and seeing the lightbulb turn on when a student gets it. I am reliable, easy going, and eager to make a difference in lives, one at a time.
After obtaining a BA in Business Ad, becoming a CPA, and working ten years as an accountant/auditor, I focused my skills towards teaching.
