I use all the main teaching tools. Both hands on and visually for those students who need different tools. I love to interact with children and adults helping them through their classes to better their future. I also enjoy having a hand in their future success. I truely believe that a great teacher is one who teaches for the greater growth of their pupils and personally I strive to help them succeed.
As an Honor roll student, a student on the Dean's list I was lucky to have graduated early. I taught six graders through opelia. I have also tutored a master's Student through her Statistics. Currently tutoring a student via online on her Senior Algebra for her Liberal Arts degree. I will hold a BA degree come december of 2010. Where I then plan to student teach and obtain a teaching certification.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia I am a highly qualified educator. Through the college I have several experiences working one on one with students, tutoring both math and literacy, as well as working with whole classrooms. Since receiving my Bachelor's degree in Education I have privately tutored third grade math. Additionally I have substituted in many different types of classrooms. I feel that I have an abundance of experience working with children in tutoring and classroom settings.
Teaching is my passion. I find that the single most important factor in being successful while working with children is getting to know them. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy working with and teaching all levels of students and children. No two children learn in the same way. It is important to differentiate and identify the way that each child needs to be taught and engaged in the lesson. Lessons must be concrete and meaningful to a child. If things are taught to them in a way and on a level that they can grasp any child can be taught. It is important to me that each child be given an opportunity to learn. It is nice to be remembered as the teacher that changed the way a child feels about school and learning from a negative to a positive experience.
