Since undergraduate work, I have worked in the business world, primarily in the manufacturing arena. My academic experiences have continued on some level. In times past I tutored high school math students in North Carolina. I am proficient is equations, inequalities, Cartesian Coordinate System, polynomials, factoring and functions. My style focuses on the processes in arriving at a solution. The learning goal in mathematics is to impart understanding of the process of working toward a solution, not attaining the solution. In mathematics as many other endeavors, it is how we proceed to a goal that is important, not the goal itself. The achievement at the end is the result of making the correct choices during the journey to the end.

I am a Civil engineer from an accredited college in Algeria, my degree is French, I am fluent with French and Arabic languages. I have experience teaching French and Math in middle school in Algeria. I awas also a summer camp teacher. I was a J.A. teacher for 4th grade in Corner school for the year 2009. I love to use my french teaching skills, I love children, I am available to help children to learn new skills I am patient, easy going flexible and funny. I enjoy being able to work with children and being able to positively impact their lives whether that be through empowering them to succeed or teaching new skills. Throughout my graduate studies I worked as a substitute teacher from grades pre-k-12; however I especially enjoyed working with younger children as it allows for more creativity and thinking outside of the box. I would consider myself to be very patient, open-minded and understanding of every individual's needs. I understand the fact that everyone has a different learning style and would be able to adapt to the individual. I prefer hands-on activities and using creative outlets to convey educational information as it often allows for easier absorption of material. I am a driven individual who has obtained a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Child Welfare in addition to a BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology.
