I make sure that every topic that i go over is clearly understood. A clear sense of understanding can make any "boring" subject more interesting and fun to learn. I like to start with the basics of a subject and move into detail as required. If more time is needed on any one topic I am willing to go over it as many times as the student wants.
I have always enjoyed teaching. When i was in college I used to teach my juniors in subjects that they needed help in. My notes in college became very popular and are still being used today. I have taught at University of DC to a group of students for which I received very positive feedback. I have a done quite a few seminars in and out of college. I have 5 years experience as a Biology, Chemistry, and now, a Physical Science teacher on the high school and middle school levels. I have gained a valuable understanding about the needs of our young people. I believe that all students are capable of learning anything, some just have different learning styles. A Little Bit About Me...

I try to put the difficult concepts of mathematics and chemistry into words and experiences that the student can understand. In the words of one of my tutees I teach "Barney-Style". In other words I talk in words they can understand whether I'm tutoring a 4th grader or a college student. It is my goal to make the subject less scary and more fun.
