Psychology is one of my top subjects! I have my Masters in Clinical Psychology and have been teaching Psychology since 2011.

I have undergraduate degrees in English, Psychology, and Social Work. I also have minors in Political Science, History, and Sociology. I completed my graduate work in Clinical Science and worked as the coordinator for the University of Northern Iowa Psychological Assessment Clinic. My teaching experience includes work at the University of Northern Iowa and Hawkeye Community College. I have experience in cognitive and behavioral assessment and working with individuals that struggle with learning disorders. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in setting goals and working to ensure they are accomplished. In my opinion, learning should never feel like a boring chore. The student should be working hard, but enjoying him or herself in the process, and this is when the most efficient and effective learning occurs. I work to impart certain values in the students I serve, including: fortitude, imagination and pride.
While I earned my bachelor's degree in communication from Loyola, I also worked as an Academic coach for high school students. I spent a year tutoring students for an academic competition that tested all skill areas including, writing, math, history and science. I spent the summer of 2006 working closely with people with disabilities. I perfected my teaching skills through hands-on learning/teaching techniques.
