My goal is to assist students in their learning process.

My teaching techniques relies on the fact that people learn different.It is a fact that a language teacher like me understood. Wrongly , as people use to think, teaching languages seems easier , but it harder than a math class. For me, there is one thing I relies on: The student ability to find the best learning strategy that feeds him or her.
I have been a journalist for year in a French newspaper. It was a great experience for me. Later I went to broadcasting(Radio) where I spent couple of year presenting News and programs in French. Hidden Talents Tutoring

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a degree in computer science, I started tutoring in the Academic Skills Center at UWEC and discovered this was a hidden talent. My comments on tutoring Microsoft Office : I'm very experienced using MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project. I've used other Office programs on a more limited basis.

I received my B.S. degree in Biology, and am knowledgeable about many sub-disciplines, including life sciences (plants/animals), genetics, evolution, and anatomy. I am generally able to explain difficult biological concepts in a more conversational way. I've worked with high school youth in the past (approx. 2 years experience) in a crew structure teaching job skills (resume writing, interviewing, etc.) and basic biological/ecological principles. I have worked with family and friends to teach basic personal finance and resume-writing tips to help them achieve great results. I am primarily an environmental consultant, and I routinely use MS Office programs to analyze, organize, and present data in easy-to-understand ways. I love to learn, and when sharing that knowledge, my ultimate goal is to leave the student with a spark that will hopefully motivate them to pursue the subject above and beyond the lesson. A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergrad studies at UWRF, I was sponsored to become a tutor in the Writing Center on campus. There was a prerequisite practicum, but it was very hands-on learning. I worked with students from a variety of backgrounds (ESL, freshman comp, MS candidates, etc). At Metro State I participated in a semester program teaching English in Puerto Rico, for which I received the ESL certification. I also TA'd for Writing and Designing for the Web.
