This one on ken time allowed me to target the specific area the student was struggling with and offer solutions. The students showed improvement over time. • Practicum experience in 6th grade Social Studies. • Experience advising and lecturing in a higher education setting at Tennessee Technological University as a Graduate Assistant.
My teaching style is hands on. I prefer to connect with the individual in order to determine how they learn best. I adapt my style in order to reach and connect with the individual on their level and preferred learning style.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have helped students from my church for the past eight years in math science and english. I have also worked with my sisters first grade students in math. I enjoy working with youth. It is extremely rewarding to watch a child when that " i get moment" happens and their face lights up with pride, happiness and a sense of accomplishment.
Try to customize to students intrest in order to keeep attention and make as entertaining as possible. Every child sees things from different eyes. I just teach them how to look. I know that as a student I would hear one explanation that all of a sudden made things so clear and seem so simple. I try to find this for every individual student.
