A Little Bit About Me...

I help alot of my friends at school with their homework and I am in Journalism 3, AP music theory and AP English Comp & Lit. I graduate in the spring of 2013. I am a High School Senior. I am going to College in the fall of 2013 and I am getting my Bacholors Degree in Graphics and Multimedia. I have been apart of my marching band for 3 years and colorguard for 4 years, I have been writing for my school newspaper for 3 years. I do almost all of the graphics for the paper, I am profecient to advanced in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; and I'm also profecient in Adobe Illistrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge, and DreamWeaver.

Graphic Design is one of my top subjects! I have a Graphic Design Certificate from DCAD and a 30+ career in the field of Graphics. Taught several classes at the University of Kentucky - one was a graduate level course in Multimedia for Special Educators. Also tutored and individual who suffered a stroke to relearn his job using graphic programs. He won the state rehabilitation award that year and credited me with his success.

A 30+ year career in the field of Graphics and Design that included a directorship managing several graphics and reproduction departments. In working for the University of Kentucky I was responsible for varied assignments such as audio and video manipulation, web design, and teaching as well as digital illustrations and CD-ROM development. In my most recent job I designed marketing pieces, packaging labels, business cards, and checked art provided by customers to ready it for printing. I am now working on a Web Design certificate from DCAD.
