My experience with tutoring began in high school, when I started assisting elementary students with homework through one of my clubs. Throughout the two years I was involved, I regularly helped 6 students, along with 6 students that I met with irregularly. I have experience tutoring children with behavioral issues, learning disabilities (dyslexia, ADHD, ADD), as well as students on the Autism Spectrum. I'm willing to assist in almost any subject, including elementary school Spanish, up to French 2, and ACT/SAT prep (my scores are available upon request). My comments on tutoring Test Preparation : help student come up with the best way to prepare for taking a test while helping aleviate some of the tension associated with test taking

Most of my adult life has been dedicated to helping people strive for and achieve personal and academic success. I have worked in the academic field for approximately 8 years; tutoring at a community college level for 4 years and scoring MEAP tests for 4 years. In addition, I have provided on the job training for individuals needing extra help. At the community college level I headed up study groups for Science classes, creating study guides and practice quizzes. I also individually tutored students in English and English as a Second Language. On the job site I implemented ways for the employee to perform his or her job duties using charts, visual cues and task lists. Currently I am tutoring Korean students in conversational English via the internet and e-books.
