A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my undergraduate studies, I was heavily involved in volunteering and mentoring in everything from education to community outreach programs. After I received my undergraduate degree, I became a corps member in the 2003 Teach for America corps. As a corps member, I served as a member of a national service corps of outstanding recent college graduates of all academic majors who commit two years to teach in under-resourced urban and rural public schools. After receiving extensive and rigorous training in Teach for America’s summer institute in Houston, I went to the Mississippi Delta to teach tenth grade social studies in Indianola, Mississippi. A Little Bit About Me...

I have had the pleasure to work inside the Natchez Adams School District as a Permanent Sub. I taught from the Mississippi Curriculum Framer. I completed my very own lesson plans following the district pacing guides. I am a strong believe of different learning styles, while doing so I try to accommodate each style of learning.
