I am currently in school to become a middle school language arts/social studies teacher. I am about to enter my junior year of college. I have volunteered in middle school classrooms. I have been doing one-on-one care with individuals with mental/physical disabilities for the past year and a half working for the Arc of NC. Teaching has been my life. All children learn in different ways and there are many ways of teaching the same concept to get the student to understand. I passed the Praxis for both of those subjects spring of 2010. I was not able to get a full time teaching position this year. I went back to working for myself but would love to tutor.
