A Little Bit About Me...

I have a bachelor's degree from Coe College in Art History and Writing, which included both creative and technical writing courses for completion. As of 2013, I have a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Bowling Green State University. In addition to my academic achievements, I have worked at Bowling Green State University as an instructor of composition and creative writing. I taught both the Introduction to Academic Writing and the more advanced Academic Writing courses, as well as an undergraduate creative writing workshop. During this time, I was also the acting Managing Editor of the literary magazine, Mid-American Review. My teaching style is one where I adapt to the situation and what it requires. I believe each student should be taught to the individual level they are on but still challenged. I am a very patient and easy going person. I relate well to students and am able to use this ability to get the most out of them.
