It's about not only motivating students to learn, but teaching them how to learn, and doing so in a manner that is relevant, meaningful, and memorable. As someone who graduated with an associates in a scientific field, I know how important it is to be persistant in my knowledge of mathematics and how critical it is for others to succeed knowing the same knowledge that I know about math no matter what the career field.
