Now, I teach English to Adults at Wallace Community College, which I have been doing since 2003. I love what I do. When I got my Master's in 2005, I was able to conduct classroom research which enabled me to reach a deeper level in the principles of both linguistics and the science of learning. A Little Bit About Me...

I have 20 years experience in the marines, so I have a no nonsense approach to teaching and tutoring. My own two children (boys, now grown) will tell you that despite my military bearing, I am patient and understanding with kids. I believe the best way to teach children (or anyone) is to create the conditions that will encourage and allow them to teach themselves. I believe that adults model for children continuously.
