I have always loved being able to teach and instruct in areas that I am very familiar with. Working the past two years at Eastern Idaho Technical College with the students has enhanced this skill. I am able to identify with how people learn and absorb new information. Then I am able to adapt and teach them in a way that helps them to understand the material. I think that the foundation of tutoring starts from understanding how a person learns, and then being able to adapt, modify and tailor the information to them.

I have a love for children and for learning. I believe in being patient and encouraging children to learn. I have learned in my dealings with children that they respond better when they feel that I have a genuine interest in them. I have worked with children with Autism. They are a special challenge, but have helped me to develop more patience and understanding. A Little Bit About Me...

I teach from the core of a person they have the inner agency to choose to succeed and they can succeed if they desire to be great they will be great. Also I believe in teaching through the nine learning intelligences as well as the six thinking hats. Also I teach by blooms taxonomy up to synthesis and evaluation. I am up to date and have read many books and taught in these styles.
I have been a teacher and tutor for a few years. I taught in a high school English and Music. Right after I graduated High school I was asked to help struggling students and teach a bit when the teacher was gone. Also I have worked in Elementary schools I have taught lessons at least once a week. I have been in teaching methods classes and I have take Education psychology. I have also been able to in three months encourage students to improve grades that are at a 50% low to a 90-100% high.

A Little Bit About Me...

I was a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints and taught the gospel. I also had the opportunity while I was on my mission to teach Spanish to adults who were interested from the community. While I was in another area I had the chance of teaching two teenage Mexican girls English. I've been a R.S. and Sunday School teacher for one year and a R.S. President for a year and a half where you teach lessons often. My teaching style is adaptable to the audience I am teaching. I love children and I am very creative and patient while I teach.
