I am an upcoming freshman at East Georgia State College. During high school, I took all Advanced Placement classes and was rewarded the highest 4-year average in Mathematics, Science, and Literature. Also, I was a dual-enrolled student at EGSC during my high school career, completing advanced level courses in Literature and Mathematics. I scored a 1200 composite in math and reading on the SAT, earning the Zell Miller college tuition scholarship. Additionally, I tutored underclassman in all four core-subjects and for the SAT.

It is my belief that every person learns differently. Students learn best by different methods and learn at different methods. I find that the best way to tech a student, especially in a one on one environment is to find how the individual best learns and use that, rather than trying to teach by any already formulated method.
As an engineering graduate from Georgia Tech, I have a high level of skill in mathematics, from algebra to calculus and differential equations, and in sciences, especially physics. My goal as a teacher is to help children appreciate learning and have fun while doing. I have had much experience working with children of all ages in the Education Field as a Primary Teacher for Head Start and CIS after school program.
