I have seven years of experience teaching general education in elementary schools, with one year of experience in 4th grade, two years in 3rd grade, and four years in 2nd grade. I have worked with children with special needs including autism, ADD/ADHD, and dyslexia. I recently completed my Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism Intervention, along with a Behavior Analysis certification, at the University of North Texas. Every person learns a bit differently. Personally, I find that an individual’s feeling and attitude about subjects such as mathematics and physics can greatly impact a student's success than any other factor.I aspire to help students see how fun (and actually quite addictive) math and mathematical sciences really are.
