I love working with and teaching children of all ages. I believe that children learn in a variety of ways and that if you give them time you will find their way so to individualize their learning so they will succeed. I believe all children deserve quality education and that knowledge is power!

My current course load includes Introduction to Career, Business Management, Business Math, Accounting, and Work-based Learning. I am also the director of the Stratford Alternative Education Program. This program allows me to help students complete courses such as Chemistry, Biology, and Algebra so they may receive a state diploma. Working in a K-12 environment has helped me gain a better understanding of the cognitive development and thought processes. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been educating people since 1987. I began in music education, which I taught successfully for 9 years, and also taught piano lessons. I then worked in special education for 1 year as an educational technician, where I tutored math, reading, and students with severe disabilities. I continued on a transitional certificate teaching elementary grades two and four, and most recently have taught post-secondary medical assisting students at a post secondary institution as well as teaching night courses in adult education in medical terminology and medical transcription.
