I believe that children want to learn and discover things about the world, and my goal as an educator is to foster that curiosity and channel it towards classroom subjects by a more holistic style of teaching that incorporates personal interests with the standard educational canon. I believe fostering this love of learning and feeling of relevance towards themselves is something that not only helps young students, but, helps them years to come. Our job as teachers is not only to prepare our students for today, but, make sure they come equipped for their challenges in the future as well.

I currently work with students in 3rd through 8th grade teaching music and spiritual gifts indentification classes. I have volunteered in classrooms of elementary age students during my college years. I worked with students one on one in these settings catching them up with the rest of their class on current projects.
