A Little Bit About Me...

Many teachers will say the same thing, that they love teaching and it is only outside factors that will disrupt a class and make it difficult for some students to learn. I delight in helping students to acquire new knowledge and there is satisfaction in having students thank the teacher after a class. I like to work with small groups and encourage these groups to explore and teach each other from my leading. Sometimes however, extraneous issues prevent students from learning adequately at school and I welcome the opportunity to supplement this education with one on one or group tutoring.
I was raised as a bilingual speaker, Italian & English, and was always fascinated by the workings of language. As a UNCP alumnus, I currently hold a BS in Biology. I have tutored peers in the past during my second year at UNCP. Subjects that I am familiar are science and math. A Little Bit About Me...

While at Hampton University, I obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry and maintained a 3.96 GPA. I have taken math courses in pre-calculus I&II, calculus I,II,&III, and Statistics. I have tutored and taught students enrolled in the Upward Bound Program in Bladen County and at Hampton University. I also tutored underclassmen in chemistry and math during my tenure at Hampton University.
