Every child has the potential to learn. However, every child is different and therefore, learns differently. It is important for an educator to understand this. It is crucial for a teacher to get to know their students and be able to create lesson plans that are not only innovative, but that are accomodating to each of their students. I just graduated with a BA in Psychology and are two courses short of a minor in Spanish and Sociology. I've always been very strong in the English/Language Arts/Writing areas as well.
