My teaching style is a combination of TPR (Total Physical Response), Socratic and Discovery. I believe that involving the student's intellect and creativity is very valuable in arriving at their understanding of the material.

In May of 2004 I graduated from a small liberal arts college in Tacoma, Washington. I majored in English with an emphasis in writing. The writing curriculum I followed consisted of writing personal essays, articles, short fiction and even writing for children. Additionally, I wrote several research reports. Research for my Masters Degree required a lengthy detailed dissertation which turned out to consist of four chapters and about forty pages. Once done with my explanation, I will have them work out problems to show me they really understand the subject.
