I am a retired teacher with 36 years of experience. I have taught from the 6th grade through community college. I also have a combined 49 seasons of coaching experience in football and basketball.I have written curriculum for high school and college classes. Subjects I have previously taught are: CAD, drafting, woodworking, study skills, computers, careers, home maintenance, residential framing, construction, and I spent a year as a Dean of Students.

Fun,Fun and Fun.Math is the subject that I enjoy tutoring the most.I have the ability to make math very simple and enjoyable.I have a very good sense of humor. I believe being happy and positive makes people around me feel the same and make them learn the material easily. Students that I have tutored found me to be very engaging and very friendly. I am very easy going, respectful and considerate.
I earned BA degree from Cairo University, which gave me a strong background in math and science. I joined J.C.C this summer for a Precalculus class I got 4 points and I scored 99% in the class.I achieved great progress and I received several letters of recommendation from my math instructor and from the students that I tutored. I am very passionate when it comes to teaching specially math.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style would be to find the student's primary learning style and converting the information he or she needs into a format that fits that learning style. Each subject would be made as visible or concrete as possible, so that the student could interact with the material on more than just a visual/conceptual level. Showing the student how the material can relate to real-life situations and opportunities would be a vital part of the instruction.
After high school, I recognized in myself a desire to work with elementary- and high school-aged children. I have always been at the top of my classes and was heading for an engineering school before I discovered a love for helping kids.
