My comments on tutoring Algebra II : Algebra II can be tough! Many unfamiliar concepts are introduced as students are being prepared for trig and calculus. Any weaknesses in previous math courses are magnified, since these are now mere tools as the subject matter advances. I can help! I've had much success tutoring algebra II. I have been told I can explain concepts in an easy to understand and easy to remember way. I use simple ideas and illustrations to explain concepts and methods. I am a recent graduate from the College of Saint Rose in Albany. I graduated with a Bachelors in Adolescent Education: Mathematics. I started tutoring my peers during my senior year of high school in 2005. At college I worked in the student learning center as a mathematics tutor.
I loved learning mathematics throughout my college experience and during my student teaching in both high school geometry and college algebra courses I realized that my passion is my strength.
