Upon earning my International Baccalaureate diploma in high school, I immediately decided teaching music was what I wanted to do. I attended the University of South Carolina and performed in many professional music ensembles including: USC Orchestra, USC Wind Ensemble, USC Symphonic Band, USC Percussion Ensemble, Palmetto Pans and I also performed and a recorded a full length album with a band that was voted best in Columbia, SC. In 2004 and 2005 I marched with the Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps and greatly enhanced my teaching, playing and performing abilities. Since then I have been teaching in the public education system and loving it. I am very easy to communicate with and I am very outgoing.
