Portuguese is one of my top subjects! I am native from Sao Paulo, Brazil and I have been living in the USA for 11 years. Recently I became an American Citizen.
I hold a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Degree in Marketing, but I have been working as a Brazilian Portuguese translator and Tutor for about 3 years now.
In Brazil I had some experience teaching foreigners, and in the USA I had taught for the ICU (International Center for the Upstate); Now I have been giving private classes.
Depending what you are looking for, my classes can include: Introduction to the Brazilian culture (key concepts and values), cultural awareness, cross-cultural training, Brazilian Business etiquette, Life style, what to expect, getting prepared to move or travel to Brazil, geography, and of course, the language itself (Grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, etc).
You can have fun by learning this amazing Culture and Language!
I teach different levels (just some examples)
1) Survival Level: greetings and introductions, asking for information, at the airport, what to culturally expect, initial grammar, pronunciation, articles, question words, verbs, and much more.
2) Conversational Level: Daily Routine, at work, pronunciation, adverbs, future, and much more.
