My comments on tutoring World History : I have a master's in social studies. I have taught world history at the high school level(directed studies).

My style is student centered. I always try to provide a positive atmosphere for learning. My jokes were a technique to help accomplish that goal. As a GED teacher I always began with a pretest and documented student progress to correct any deficiencies. I believe in positive reinforcement and helping students achieve their goals which gives us both a sense of accomplishment.

A Little Bit About Me...

I tutored extensively when I was in high school, both privately and through my college. Most of my experience is in mathematics, but I can also tutor in English, science, and SAT prep. I received a 2170 on my SATs and a 32 on my ACT. I graduated high school with my Associates degree, and had a 4.0 GPA in both.
