I have tutored in the Public Schools for many years while my children were young. As a young teen I even graded papers for teachers who were not associated with my school district. I enjoy teaching and get great satisfaction from the success when a student gets it! I home schooled my middle child when she became too ill to attend school on a regular basis. College educated years of experience with "At Risk" students

I believe that every student I have ever worked with has been more than capable of understanding and excelling at whatever material we are working on. The problem I often see is either a lack of focus or loss of determination/ confidence due to not agreeing or benefiting from their teachers teaching style.
