I currently teach children and adults a variety of classes including painting, drawing, mosaic making, printmaking, fiber arts and collage. I believe that everyone is an artist and that everyone needs creativity of some sort in their life to create balance. By making art, I believe that other areas of academics improve by exercising the right brain as well as the left brain. While I volunteered there I helped many of them with there homework as well as extra reading and writing to help improve those skills. I found that my psychology major as well as my education and english minors were very useful and helpful to help tutor in all subjects.
I love working with children. I was involved in girl scouts from first grade all the way to 12th grade and in those years I learned a lot of leadership skills.
