After graduating from Binghamton University, I worked for a short time as a bookkeeper. Then I worked for New York State for 25 years in the fields of auditing, internal auditing, and accounting. I performed a variety of duties while working as an accountant including supervising staff. As an internal auditor I the day-to- day operations of an internal audit unit. A Little Bit About Me...

With a high interest in foreign language, I decided to pursue a double bachelor's degree in Spanish and French. Having studied abroad four times, twice in Mexico, once in Costa Rica and one in France, I feel like my proficiency in both is at a level where I would be able to tutor many levels. I have been tutoring for the past four years, and I would love to continue in this field.

I love working with children. I was involved in girl scouts from first grade all the way to 12th grade and in those years I learned a lot of leadership skills. I am very patient and want to provide education to anyone that needs it. When I was in school I often struggled with school work, so I learned many different techniques to learn how to learn.
While I was an undergraduate, volunteering was very important to me. One of the places I volunteered was an after school program for children who live in Hamilton Hill. While I volunteered there I helped many of them with there homework as well as extra reading and writing to help improve those skills.
