Having graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry I have always been passionate about the sciences and getting others excited about them as well. I was awarded a number of grants to perform research projects while in college and from that became familiar with collecting information and having to be extremely detail-oriented. A Little Bit About Me...

I just recently completed my first semester of teaching University 101 at the University of South Carolina. This course allowed me to find out how much I enjoy teaching. I like to be able to make a personal connection with the students and learn about their learning styles and much more. I feel like each person who is in a teaching capacity has the ability to motivate and help each child in the classroom. It is just up to each one of us to decide how much time and effort we are willing to put into each student.
