A Little Bit About Me...

I have over two and a half years of teaching experience at the high school level. After earning my Masters Degree in Secondary Education from Le Moyne College in 2006 I obtained my first teaching job with the Syracuse City School District. I taught various sciences to high school students in an alternative program. In the summer of 2008 I taught chemistry to summer school students for Boces. In 2009 I taught various sciences to students at Hillside Children’s Center in Auburn, NY. I have also worked as a tutor for Huntington Learning Center and provided private and homebound tutoring services as well. Currently, I work as a substitute teacher for Phoenix and East Syracuse school districts. I also tutor privately.

Understanding each student's learning style is key to providing quality instruction. I love to work with children everyday. I believe children have different learning styles and it is important to find out each child's learning style to better meets their academic needs.
