My comments on tutoring Calculus I : Taught AP Calculus AB for three years. 40% of my students scored a "5" on the AP Exam.

I taught advanced high school mathematics at McKinney Christian Academy for five years (2005 - 2010). This involved the following classes: AP Calculus AB, Honors PreCalculus, and Advanced Algebra II. When I was in high school, I decided upon attending Oklahoma State University, based upon the fact that OSU sponsored a high school scholastic competition, whereas OU was only known for football. If that does not make me boring enough, I represented my school and placed 8th in the state for Algebra. Not too bad for a small middle-class parochial school. Naturally enough, I was the best at my school. When I finally went to OSU, I studied Electrical Engineering, obtaining a Master's degree. How did I get to Texas? -- Texas Instruments of course!
