Hi! My name is Andrew Hoover and I started tutoring Mathematics/Science during my sophomore year in High School. Since then, I have continued to help others within my classes up until I reached community college. It was in 2008 that I became a certified tutor for Fresno City College, where I have been ever since. I tutor a wide range of subjects, from algebra to philosophy (Symbolic Logic) and even biology/chemistry. I graduated from CSU Fresno with a BA in Chemistry and a BS in Biology. Since then, I have been a substitute teacher for two months for elementary school grades k-8. For the las year I have been a substitute teacher for the Tulare Joint Union High School District. Although I have subbed for many subjects, I specialize in both math and sciences. I have subbed long term for two weeks for Calculus BC and Precalculus, long term for three weeks for Chemisty, and long term for Algebra 1 for eight weeks. I have also subbed often for Geometry and Algebra 2, and am frequently requested by the math department chair at Tulare Union.
