Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! If you are thinking of building on your writing skills, then you have picked the right person. Writing gets a message across in the most simplest way, but Creative Writing will move a reader. As your tutor, you will be guided through a series of tasks that aim to increase you writing abilities. You will build your vocabulary, refine your syntax and be given scripts that will stimulate creativity.
Growing up, I observed how some students in my classes instantly understood and learned quicker than me. I understood the same thing they did, because I received similar grades. The difference was in how information was taught. As a tutor, my goal is to evaluate a students best method of learning. This is done by asking the student, guardian and presenting a student with different techniques of learning (visual, verbal, and hands-on).
My teaching experience started as a volunteer tutor for ESL learners. For two years I volunteered at the Benjamin Franklin Library, located in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles.
