I tutored elementary students at Bennett Elementary School in Fargo for a year, helping them with reading skills and work. As a professional communicator, I have worked in broadcast and print journalism and have been a professional writer for 17 years. I have extensive writing and grammatical skills. I have worked for reputable companies, such as Microsoft, as a marketing manager. On a personal level, I have taught Sunday School to ages 3-13 for 10 years at Triumph Church in Moorhead and I taught taekwondo at the ATA Black Belt Academy for one year. As a graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Education, I have a great diverse experience with children and families. I have volunteered my education experience and worked at many places including preschools, kindergarten centers, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and early childhood centers. I also have been involved as a juvenile tracker for Lutheran Social Services where I had to earn each juvenile's trust and help them become more responsible and be able to positively deal with school and life in general.
