My comments on tutoring Grammar : I have taught Grammar to Elementary and High School students within the Fayette County School System and for tutoring companies.

I graduated from McIntosh High School in Fayette County and studied English and Secondary Education at Berry College. I student taught for a year at Rome High School before graduating and becoming a substitute teacher in Fayette County. I have completed three long-term substitute positions, two of which put me in charge of an entire classroom with all the responsibilities of a full-time teacher. Additionally, I worked at Aloha-USA Mind Math with Elementary Students as an English Teacher and occasionally a Math teacher.
I opt for making the material relatable to my students, which causes it to be more interesting and meaningful. When something is relevant, it is a lot more fun and kids are much more willing to want to learn, which is, of course, ideal.

The realization that children do well in small group instructional settings, and on an individual tutoring basis, is what I took most from my years in the classroom. My focus is to ascertain the instructional level needed, then instruct for that standpoint. I do not like busywork, but instead look for progress in the individual child.
