I love to work with children of any age. I have been volunteering for over 15 years helping wherever and whenever I can to help make the lives of children more enriched. I have two boys of my own (age 10 and 14) and have been successful in helping them achieve the best they can. I have been teaching kids as a substitute for many years and went back to school in my middle 30's to become a teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

I care very deeply about the success of each of my students. My degree in Math did not come easily and I had to work very hard. I understand the frustrations of the students and try to show them how to complete their work in different ways. I believe that with support and encouragement children can learn material that they find very challenging. I have the patience and empathy to do that.
Initially, I began tutoring in Potsdam. I was able to work with students struggling in Math. In addition, I have teaching experience in Texas and New York.
